This is what happens if you let the bottom deck fall to the side while the nose is in the forward keel slot.

The stringer had shifted as I was screwing in the woodscrews, so they only entered the plywood deck.

This actually isn't a f'up - the bulkhead can be placed so that there is an equal amount of space to allow the cabin walls to completely fill the gap.

This crappy picture is of a crack that apeared in the plywood, and the area asound the 5" crack was delaminated. It was on the inside of the rear side panel. I heated it up with a heat gun, slathered on straight epoxy, then mixed the remainder with maple wood flour and slathered that on there and scraped it smooth. I then placed wax paper on the whole area, then another piece of ply held against it with a piece of wood leveraged with a brick. The next day it was solid as a rock, with no more delamination.

I tried to have the seat back follow the curve in the deck, but there was no way in heck it was going to. After scrutinizing the video I could tell that the seat back went under the deck at that point. After looking at the plans again I can see that the stringer goes under the deck in a straight line, not following the curve. See the detail photo in this album.
